Altro Health was built with clinicians who trained at leading institutions including Harvard Medical School, Mayo Clinic, and Johns Hopkins. The clinical team holds elite credentials, and medications are compounded by licensed 503A and 503B pharmacies, prescribed when appropriate, and shipped directly to you.

The Process
Getting Started
Schedule a Consultation
Book a wellness consultation with one of our MP Aesthetics & Wellness providers. We will discuss your goals, explain the available programs, and guide you through the next steps with Altro Health.
Create Your Profile
You will create a secure profile and register directly through our MP Aesthetics Altro Health application platform.
Complete Medical Intake
Fill out a comprehensive medical intake form when you place your initial order through the app.
Clinical Review
An Altro Health licensed clinician reviews your health history to determine appropriate wellness services. Laboratory testing may be requested. Most prescriptions are handled asynchronously, though a few require a brief call.
Medication Delivery
If approved, a US-based 503A or 503B certified pharmacy will compound and ship the medication directly to your door.
Frequently Asked Questions
Your safety is our top priority. Our partner specialists do their due diligence to ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate. If the clinician determines that a medication is not suitable for you, you will be refunded for the medication cost. The clinician explains the reason directly to you through the portal and suggests alternatives if there are any.
Refills run automatically every 4 weeks for prescriptions to avoid missed doses. You will receive a 48-hour notice via email before the payment is processed. Then, the payment is captured, and medication is shipped out. Clients can cancel their orders anytime through the portal.
Because the products are prescription and compounded medications, orders are final sale and can't be returned or refunded once placed. Dispensed medication can't be accepted back or resold for safety and legal reasons, as is standard across licensed telehealth.
Exceptions:
- If a clinician declines to prescribe, or an order isn't accepted, you aren't charged for that product (or refunded if already taken).
- If the wrong product ships or an order arrives incomplete, contact support, and the team will make it right.
- If a product is discontinued after an order is placed, the order may be cancelled and refunded.
- For telehealth visits, fees may be refundable if cancelled before the visit is scheduled. Once scheduled, it's non-refundable.
- For subscriptions, Altro Health sends a 48-hour reminder before renewals. You can cancel or pause before being charged. Once processed, it isn't refundable.
No, Altro Health is a cash-pay platform and does not accept insurance. However, HSA and FSA cards are acceptable at checkout, and clients can submit receipts to their plan administrator for potential reimbursement.
Yes. MP Aesthetics & Wellness and Altro Health do not replace the primary care medical providers you see regularly for overall health maintenance.
